writing shorts stories for my english teacher at school and lyrics for music has been the early entry, later I tried to cross the border to english poetry. here are some chosen poems for my international friends. I love you all where ever you are right now ...
DEATH OF A DOG
Dark night broken city gas lights
Mind dog is travelling the wet stones
Bark and bite, run and hide
Nobody ever throws me a bone
You will pay for love tonight
She cuts the lights of the motor home
I should have known it but in spite
Still tried to run from being ‘lone
She took me in her hands to spill me
And said the words she knew would kill me
Run dog run!
She said: run dog run!
And I ran ran ran
Nightmare of an open mike night
Got one thought in thousand clones
But couldn’t get a word out right
Like truth was her forbidden zone
I’m on my way to nothing right
Like an autopilot on testosterone
She told me I’m to leave tonight
To harvest what my fear has grown
She locked me in her legs to chill me
And said the words she knew would kill me
Run dog run!
She said: run dog run!
And I tried to be a good dog
And I ran ran ran
SWEETWATERTEARS
Have I been waiting just for this
God shoots that poison arrow
She cuts a metal curtain with
A view, a dance of eyebrows
She’s not like anyone I know
Hearts of gold the price to pay
Seduce me into danger
She calls me and then walks away
She plays the perfect stranger
Dreams wild wet got washed away
By anything like tears
But not so salty
She’s not like anyone I know
A beauty in her sadness
She smiles her silent cries that show
She’s far beyond just madness
And breathless she demands my love
Come, boy, fulfil my hunger
But finally she cuts in half -
The darling and the hunter
Dreams wild wet got washed away
By anything like tears
But not so salty
She sundowns far beyond the sea
In anything like blood
But not so salty
GEOMETRIC
You design lines squares and circles
All around my heart
Then you find these geometric structures
Tearing me apart
And you explain the philosophies of love
But that is not enough
You just can’t calculate the chaos
In your eyes life must be in order
All must be in place
No desire to ever cross the borders
You’re locked up in a safe (in a way)
You’re like a train running down your tracks
You never step aside
You’re never looking back
You keep explaining your philosophies of love
But that is not enough
You just can’t calculate the chaos
You design lines squares and circles
Like a cage of steel
Can’t you see these geometric structures
Disable us to feel
You may explain the philosophies of love
But that still is not enough
You just can’t calculate the chaos
while you don’t need to ...
THE GOLDEN ROOM
Night’s falling from that grace
You piled these fading things
I’m crawling through that place
I’m searching for your fingerprints
Your smells are everywhere
The pillow keeps your breath
Your shadows linger in the air
Your echoes make me deaf
I’m still living in that golden room
Still shining from the light you gave me
You left me lonely in this warm cocoon
I remember every day you tried to save me
The nights are long these days
The hurting slows me down
While memories come as a blaze
My queen had stole the crown
And all the songs I wrote
Will burn my heart to death
Each word was meant a loving note
And still there’s so much left
I’m still living in that golden room
Still shining from the light you gave me
You left me buried in this warm cocoon
Is that the way you try to save me?
I’m not leaving this place
I’ve asked your god if I could stay
I know you won’t return these days
But I can keep my dreams alive this way
I’m still living in that golden room …
SOME VELVET WIND
Lay soft beside the river
Dive into the elephant grass
Can you feel the gentle shiver
A cool breeze from the past
And when I look up to the sky
... see the stars rush by ...
There must be like one hundred million
Reasons to fly
I gonna dive into your velvet wind
And I’m not dreaming
I can’t think of anything better
... but better you don’t think ...
I watch my hands grow feathers
And make my arms be wings
And as I’m loosing weight
I feel me gaining height
I gonna challenge fate
And touch the sky tonight
I gonna dive into your velvet wind
And I’m not dreaming
Well as you know man is not made to fly
We’re supposed to be a victim of gravity and time
For from ground we come and we must become ground
And he who ever rises will be shattered down
But now as I fly I care for nothing at all
I watch the world go by and everything’s so small
The mass of men look like ants in a machine
And every great idea is just another little dream
As I watch all this from the moon
... will you come home soon ...
I will escape from my humanimal cocoon
I gonna be a part of all and everything ...
I feel like drowning in your velvet wind ...
And I’m not dreaming
LATE CHECK-OUT
Nein, I don’t mind
To waste some time
If I can feel it coming in the air tonight
What to find
In your eyes
To put the beautiest of moments in a rhyme
And I don’t mind
If love makes blind
As long as I have got the feeling it’s alright
Just one night
Side by side
Until we late check-out and leave the cat behind ...
Nein, I don’t mind ...
I won’t mind ...
Nein, I don’t mind
That time by time
We all take flight in stupid little lies
It’s just a try
To get by
With all of these confusions deep inside
Like tonight
I won’t mind
To lay down in your arms and make you fly
Just one night
Side by side
Until we late check-out and leave this love behind ...
Nein, I don’t mind ...
I won’t mind ...
Just one night
Side by side
Until we late check-out and give a kiss-goodbye ...
Until we late check-out and leave ourselves behind ...
Nein, I don’t mind ...
Nein nein nein, I won’t mind ...
